RCB Cancels Open Bus Parade Amid Traffic Concerns After Historic IPL 2025 Win

Bengaluru, June 4, 2025 – Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have cancelled their much-anticipated open bus victory parade due to fears of severe traffic congestion in the city.

RCB were scheduled to celebrate their maiden IPL title with a grand parade starting at 3:30 PM IST, moving from Vidhana Soudha to M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. However, officials decided to cancel the parade citing Bengaluru’s high traffic volume, especially in the Central Business District (CBD) area.

Instead, the team will be felicitated at Chinnaswamy Stadium between 5 PM and 6 PM. Prior to the event, the players will meet Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at Vidhana Soudha.
